[Cinna's normally genial tone seems a bit thin today as he delivers the following announcements.]
Cast for the current production, please see me as soon as possible so we can do fittings. Additionally, Miss Rosella, if you'd like to stop by I have some samples for you to look over.

[Throughout most of the day, when he's not with customers he's been sitting silently in the back, threading the day's fortune through his fingers. The cookie remains crumbled on the counter, uneaten. Should you stop by, you may find him lost in thought and have to call his name a few times to get an answer.]

"Okay," she nods mostly to herself, pausing as she begins going through them one by one, indeed running across duplicates and sometimes lingering on certain ones that catch her eye for this or that reason. In the corner of her awareness, she looks for a moment when Cinna steps out or into the back, presuming the fortune he threw away landed somewhere on the ground.

It sounds bad, but everything can sound bad. Maybe it means nothing. She wants it so badly to mean nothing.
That's part of what makes her all too certain it's not.
What happens to you?
Swallowing a sharp pain rooted in a swell of concern, she places the fortune back. The crumple there is a little hard to miss.
