11th Design [voice]

Despite the rather troubling events happening, business, apparently, marches on. In this case, mine. I've discovered that I'm it a bit of a bind; my success, while to be expected, has had three, well mostly two, rather unfortunate results.

Firstly, I have more than enough commissions to keep me busy for the next several months, and yet I'd like to take on more, expand my repertoire, and that necessitates hiring more help to assist in production which I don't currently have enough currency to hire.

Secondly, I need more space, even if I don't expand, my current workshop is getting too small for my purposes. Again, my lack of currency is an obstacle.

So despite my inclination to remain sole owner, I'm looking for investors who, for a respectable investment, will be given a percentage of ownership in my works.

If you happen to have any interest, please let me know, I have some ideas for my eventual expansion that I would be more than happy to share with you.

Enough room for multiple sewing machines, at least a dozen dress forms and racks for bolts of fabric. Then there's the shelves and drawers for the notions and such. A small warehouse would be nice, it doesn't have to be attached to the shop itself, although the shop will still need some workspace in the back for minor alterations and fittings.

As soon as you said 'small warehouse' I knew my idea wasn't going to cut it.

What was your idea?

I have an extra apartment in my building that I use as a studio. Since I have a free room in my apartment, I don't need all of it, so there's some room left over since I had most of the walls knocked out. But it's nowhere near warehouse size.

Ah, well, I'd rather to have people have room to work, an apartment would be just a shade too small.

Which is why I'm taking my idea back.

It was good, though. Just not to scale. More akin to what I have now, actually, now that I think of it.

Speaking of budgets, how much is a respectable investment exactly?

From one artist to another, maybe. But I need a number. We're not called starving artists for nothing.

A minimum 10 Indigo initial investment or an equivalent in equipment or supplies to start.

Oh, very nice. I think I can find something for that.

Now to find someplace to wear it when you're finished.
