No, no, no... The entrance needs to split the salon and the shop proper, the space needs to be open, inviting, calming. No narrow entrance hallways.

What about the buzzer?

So, buddy, how about we do this? Leave the separate doors, an' the walls, and just make a bunch of interior doors between the two.

Have you listened to one word I've said? It is an... immersion experience, surrounded by beauty, transformed by it. Yes, there has to be distinct areas, but distinct doesn't mean closed off and cavernous.

So... we gotta match the decor between the two?

...yes. We will be redecorating everything. Perhaps we should discuss the lighting or audio systems.

And how's that coming along?

Slowly. I've secured funds, and the locations, now it's just construction.

What d'you mean to do with sound, then?

Each section, clothing, shoes, the salon, the cafe, can all have separate music playing, but I'd like to be able to send sound from the small performance space through out the building as well.

And a performance space.

Just a small area, enough for Menolly and her harp, perhaps the occasional violinist.

A lot for one shop. But what do I know about that sort of thing, yeah? I'm sure it'll be lovely once it's all done.

There can be intimacy in large spaces. It's all about the design.
