Despite the rather troubling events happening, business, apparently, marches on. In this case, mine. I've discovered that I'm it a bit of a bind; my success, while to be expected, has had three, well mostly two, rather unfortunate results.

Firstly, I have more than enough commissions to keep me busy for the next several months, and yet I'd like to take on more, expand my repertoire, and that necessitates hiring more help to assist in production which I don't currently have enough currency to hire.

Secondly, I need more space, even if I don't expand, my current workshop is getting too small for my purposes. Again, my lack of currency is an obstacle.

So despite my inclination to remain sole owner, I'm looking for investors who, for a respectable investment, will be given a percentage of ownership in my works.

If you happen to have any interest, please let me know, I have some ideas for my eventual expansion that I would be more than happy to share with you.

Shall I bring it over tomorrow, then? You'll likely be seeing quite a bit more business in the next month, especially with Valentine's Day coming up, so the sooner you can make your expansions, the better, I should think.

Goodness, I've never owned a business before. Or part of one, even. What does one do with a part of a business?

Oh, it's a lovely holiday next month, when people in love spend time together. Most years, we have a great ball for it, so I'd imagine you'll get quite a few orders for pretty evening outfits and ballgowns in the weeks to come.

Oh, I see. But of course, it seems as though you could use the profits more than me, isn't that so?

I don't know if there'll be one this year, of course, though I do hope there will be! I remember one that was themed around roses, though, and there were red roses everywhere, like a carpet across the floor, and the whole room smelled of them. It was really just beautiful.

Hmmm, can't say I'm fond of the smell of roses myself. It's often used to cover more... unpleasant smells. But I'm sure whatever events take place will be lovely.

And hopefully everyone will have recovered their memories enough to enjoy it.

Oh, dear! And not because of a trade? That...happens sometimes, the deities will make a trade in exchange for memories. But those memories don't come back; they're just gone.

Rue's lost them? Goodness, no, I hadn't heard that--and nothing out of Fakir or Ahiru, either, my goodness! They must be watching over her very carefully at the Opera House, I'd never have known if you hadn't said so.

Mmm. We've been looking after her, but nothing's been proposed as a solution yet.
