14th Design [accidental video]

[The camera clicks on into a semi-dark bedroom. The early morning sun shines weakly through curtains and blinds to show a bed, covers all askew. An alarm goes off and the covers move as whoever is underneath them starts to slide out of bed...

...and falls to the floor with a surprised bark.

From the far edge of the bed, the head of adog and blinks a few times. A paw is clumsily set on top of the covers and he looks at it, eyes wide.

With the alarm still going off in the distance, you can just hear a soft whine as the dog looks at his paw again, and then over to the alarm clock.

It's going to be a very long day.]

[ooc: We're just going to assume that all three of the dog icons are of the same dog, mmmkay? They're close matches but not perfect. Today Cinna is an Italian Greyhound which is like a "toy" version of a normal greyhound. He's about 20 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs about 18lbs.

Apartment-mates can probably hear the alarm (if they're not cursed themselves) and action for them is welcome. Heck, if anyone wants to action something out he will be walking around the City later in the day. Just because he's a dog doesn't mean he can't go check on construction at the shop. Anyone else will have to be video.

Also, I'll tag when I get back this afternoon, I just wanted to get this up now.]

Better than when Katniss was a bird.

[He can't help but scratch Cinna between the ears]

Are you hungry?

[identity profile] threadthefire.livejournal.com 2011-02-19 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
[Cinna nods, yes, it's definitely better, but he can't help by snap a little at Peeta's scratching. Yes, it felt wonderful, but it was a little... awkward.

There was also another issue, so with two barks he tells Peeta that no, hunger is not his most pressing need. Giving a plain look at the closed bathroom door, he whines, crossing to it and pawing at the doorknob.]

[identity profile] risetwice.livejournal.com 2011-02-19 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, sorry.

[He stands and moves to the door and opens it, letting Cinna in, and just closing it when he's done. He doesn't need to know. Or want to know.]

[identity profile] threadthefire.livejournal.com 2011-02-19 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[No he really doesn't, but somehow Cinna makes it work, even managing to figure out how to flush.

With a few barks, Cinna asks Peeta to kindly open the door again. This is going to get old, they need to figure something out.]

[identity profile] risetwice.livejournal.com 2011-02-19 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[Peeta opens the door and looks down at Cinna-the-dog]

We're going to have to work something better out. Maybe we should just leave all the relevant doors open today.

[Cinna gives a low growl, not really angry, but frustrated. Especially since he still wants to leave the apartment at some point.

Looking around the bedroom, an idea strikes him. He'd set out the suit he was planing to wear, and today that includes a tie. He paws at it gently and looks at the door. Some of the handles in the apartment could have something tied to them, he bets he could pull those with his teeth.

Granted, that means certain doors might need to be left unlocked, but for one or two days?]

[identity profile] risetwice.livejournal.com 2011-02-20 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
[Peeta looks at the tie and takes it carefully, and takes it to the door]

You want me to tie it to the handle?

[Look, Peeta's logic is very high-fuctioning]

[identity profile] threadthefire.livejournal.com 2011-02-20 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
[Three barks and a whimper. That's silk, Peeta. He wants something like that, not exactly that. There's plenty of fabric, he's sure there's some-

Oh, in the living room. He dashes out of the bedroom and barks. Follow me, Peeta.]

[identity profile] risetwice.livejournal.com 2011-02-20 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
[And he follows. You've already trained him.]

[On a low shelf, there's a small bolt of muslin so he can work on forms while he's at home. With his teeth, he's able to pull it out on the floor. Peeta can make ties out of this.]
