14th Design [accidental video]

[The camera clicks on into a semi-dark bedroom. The early morning sun shines weakly through curtains and blinds to show a bed, covers all askew. An alarm goes off and the covers move as whoever is underneath them starts to slide out of bed...

...and falls to the floor with a surprised bark.

From the far edge of the bed, the head of adog and blinks a few times. A paw is clumsily set on top of the covers and he looks at it, eyes wide.

With the alarm still going off in the distance, you can just hear a soft whine as the dog looks at his paw again, and then over to the alarm clock.

It's going to be a very long day.]

[ooc: We're just going to assume that all three of the dog icons are of the same dog, mmmkay? They're close matches but not perfect. Today Cinna is an Italian Greyhound which is like a "toy" version of a normal greyhound. He's about 20 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs about 18lbs.

Apartment-mates can probably hear the alarm (if they're not cursed themselves) and action for them is welcome. Heck, if anyone wants to action something out he will be walking around the City later in the day. Just because he's a dog doesn't mean he can't go check on construction at the shop. Anyone else will have to be video.

Also, I'll tag when I get back this afternoon, I just wanted to get this up now.]

Listen to hisses as he drops it again. Oh, he hates today. He hates it so much. Peering into the device with his amber eyes, he gives a flat look. So a dog while he's a cat.]

Wait. Why does Cinna care that there's a cat? Nevermind. He can hear the cat and starts searching the room, sorting through all the strange scents - wow, definitely laundry day - and finally comes to the network device.

He sniffs it. The smells are going to take some getting used to.]

[Stupid dogs. Why the hell is it sniffing the device?

His fur starts to bristle even if he doesn't know why, giving a little warning look as ears pin back slowly. It's vile and uncessary to do this. Why is he doing this?}

[Cinna growls, low in his throat. That's... strange. He actually likes cats.]

[He is in the kitchen making breakfast when the alarm goes off, and after a few minutes he gets worried so he knocks o the door.]

Cinna?

[Cinna can't open doors and besides, he's pawing at the alarm trying to shut the damn thing off. Hearing the knock, he whines again before letting out a short series of barks.

Peeta. Thank heavens.]

[Barking...is that a dog? What else could it be? Peeta opens the door carefully and looks in and spots the dog. Did Cinna get a dog? Without telling him or Katniss?]

Cinna? Are you here?

[He hopes the dog doesn't bite.]

[There's another two shark barks and Cinna approaches Peeta, sitting right in front of him. And staring.

Come on, Peeta, we went through this with Katniss recently.]

[That surprised bark gets another bark in reply, this one from a border collie who dropped its plushie sausage toy to communicate with a fellow dog over the network device left on the bed. How the device turned on, no one knows, but whoever's on the other side gets an eyeful of Biscuit's cold wet nose and in its wake, its imprint left behind on the camera.

But in the background, there's another sound--a female human's voice, thick with sleep, requesting that the collie please shut the hell up because nobody should be awake this early on a Saturday.]

[Cinna's successfully found his communicator. And simple watches the other dog for a moment. It doesn't really expect him to communicate, does it?

But then he hears the background and he gives another whine. Angela. Of course.]

[Yes. Yes, it does expect him to communicate. Biscuit is a dog. Nobody said Biscuit was a smart dog.

She whines back, Biscuit, not Angela. In the background, Angela, hair all wild, flips her covers off to stare sleepily at the dog at the foot of her bed. The dog's staring at the device weirdly and all Angela can guess is that Biscuit things the device if from the devil.]

Biscuit, really. It's not going to bite you.

[That's a little more true than anything else, but Angela is still too sleepy to be aware yet.]

[Giving a slight huff of disappointment, Cinna follows it with two sharp barks. And maybe something that sounds like a growling chuckle. She's cute when she's all unruffled like that.]
