[The camera clicks on into a semi-dark bedroom. The early morning sun shines weakly through curtains and blinds to show a bed, covers all askew. An alarm goes off and the covers move as whoever is underneath them starts to slide out of bed...

...and falls to the floor with a surprised bark.

From the far edge of the bed, the head of adog and blinks a few times. A paw is clumsily set on top of the covers and he looks at it, eyes wide.

With the alarm still going off in the distance, you can just hear a soft whine as the dog looks at his paw again, and then over to the alarm clock.

It's going to be a very long day.]

[ooc: We're just going to assume that all three of the dog icons are of the same dog, mmmkay? They're close matches but not perfect. Today Cinna is an Italian Greyhound which is like a "toy" version of a normal greyhound. He's about 20 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs about 18lbs.

Apartment-mates can probably hear the alarm (if they're not cursed themselves) and action for them is welcome. Heck, if anyone wants to action something out he will be walking around the City later in the day. Just because he's a dog doesn't mean he can't go check on construction at the shop. Anyone else will have to be video.

Also, I'll tag when I get back this afternoon, I just wanted to get this up now.]

[Can dogs roll their eyes? Maybe not, but Cinna's trying. Still, answers come.

Two barks.

[Another click of her own network device gives her video in return and she's peering quite closely at the screen when her face appears. At least there's a smile on it, no matter how mildly bewildered.]

Hullo... Cinna?

Oh, you're kidding.

[Cinna's head dips in a nod as he barks twice... and sneezes. Oops.]

[Ginny blinks, then actually bites down on her lip to hold back a laugh.]

Adorable, aren't you.

[Cinna barks twice and growls a little. He doesn't recognize you.]

[Really. Really? Hang on, he'll go grab his trident for your viewing pleasure. And roll his eyes at you for good measure.]

You know, I'm honestly not sure which of us has it worse right now.

[He is not cute.]

[Yes. Yes, it does expect him to communicate. Biscuit is a dog. Nobody said Biscuit was a smart dog.

She whines back, Biscuit, not Angela. In the background, Angela, hair all wild, flips her covers off to stare sleepily at the dog at the foot of her bed. The dog's staring at the device weirdly and all Angela can guess is that Biscuit things the device if from the devil.]

Biscuit, really. It's not going to bite you.

[That's a little more true than anything else, but Angela is still too sleepy to be aware yet.]

[Oh, hello, Finnick. Have a happy... yap? And another growl. You can talk. Cinna's pretty sure he's on the short end of this particular stick.]

[Giving a slight huff of disappointment, Cinna follows it with two sharp barks. And maybe something that sounds like a growling chuckle. She's cute when she's all unruffled like that.]

You know, it figures you'd be out of commission the one day when I really need your styling expertise.

[He shakes his head, running his hand through his rather lustrous shoulder-length hair--and frowns when it takes longer than usual to free his fingers from the locks. He's still adjusting to the altered body, evidently, even if his habits have stayed the same.]

Has anybody come to your rescue yet?

[Okay, either she's still asleep and this is just another weird dream just from eating something bad last night for dinner, or Biscuit just barked without moving her mouth.]

What? What did you say?

[Confusion, yes, not that she expects the dog to actually talk.]

[He nods with another short bark. Peeta's been in and has helped, although how to communicate that is another issue. He whines a little and tosses his head up in what he hopes was a questioning gesture.

Do you need help?]

[Sigh. Cinna barks a few more times. Although if he were thinking, he would have stayed silent.

What does he expect to accomplish with this? He's a dog today.]

[That definitely didn't come from the collie. It's not even her bark. Angela furrows her brow and crawls down to the device, only to see another dog, a strange dog, on the screen. She moves to flick the off button, but wait... that network ID...]

...Cinna?

I'm going to take that as a yes. One for yes, two for no, right?

[Sigh.]

The clothes Johanna left behind are too small for me, and I'm betting Katniss's are, too. Any chance you've got something over there that might fit me for a day? I can still get into my usual stuff, but the fit is pretty bad.

[His head bobs up and down twice, and he gives a low whine. This is... embarrassing. Yes, that's the word, embarrassing.]

They turned you into a dog. [That might be a snicker coming from her. She still likes you, though, Cinna.] A cute dog, but a dog, nonetheless.

[One bark for yes.

His head cocks to the side as he considers. He has some mending and alterations that he's brought home for the weekend. Perhaps there's a skirt...?

He gives another single bark. But Finnick's going to have to come over and pick it up.]

[A cute dog, hmm? His tail wags a little and he realizes that sounds a little... needy. But he barks a friendly confirmation and is glad that they didn't have plans that he'd have to reschedule.]

Let's just hope it really is only a day. This is one alteration I really don't want to keep.

[It's still pretty early. Hopefully the building will be relatively quiet, and he won't be spotted as he makes his perilous journey...across the hall.]

I'll head over in a minute. Is your door open?

I may have a potential employee for you.

We'll discuss this further after you've reverted back.

[Angela sits up straighter now, taming her hair with a hard carded through it. Biscuit is still very much interested in this other dog, as seen by her trying to push her nose into the device.]

You need anything? Toys, a walk, opposable thumbs?
